I see what you meant. I believe it was late July 2018. I had an RFIE which delayed it for about 2 months.01/2017: I-130 Sent to CSC (F2A)

Nice, so I guess they're working on 485 that were filed in 07 and 08/2018 now. Congrats. Hopefully all of our interviews will go well. I still need to prepare lots of things to bring to the interview.01/2017: I-130 Sent to CSC (F2A)

My interview went great. I was very much worried though.
Our immigration officer was very nice! Honestly, it looked like he already made his decision before even seeing us, he just needed anything with our names on it. I had two HUGE folders on me full of evidence, but he only wanted any bills/car insurance/lease/joint bank accounts. all of it had to have both names on it + pictures of us with friends(he kept all pictures from big parties with lots of people) .
I personally think there’s no need to print out informed delivery as someone suggested, not even text messages or emails (it’s quite ridiculous in my opinion and waste of paper, it’s also quite personal to share..). Give the officer only what he asks for, he also wants to keep it simple. I expected lots of interrogation.. but everything went very smoothly and fast. He didn’t ask much, just brief story on how we met, how got married, whether we lived together before marriage etc. My husband was very supportive and calm, that helped a lot!
Honestly, if your marriage is legit - you have NOTHING to worry about! Officer approved our case right away and gave me approval letter on spot.
The worst part of it was just that year long wait.. I finally feel a huge relief. I overstayed my visa for a few years, the officer said that it happens often, but as long as there’s no criminal record they forgive such mistakes.
Good luck to you all! Do not overthink too much! It’s all going to be alright.

also, there’s quite tricky parking situation and long security line. So plan accordingly. Try to be there at least 30-40 min earlier. People who were scheduled for 10am walked in at 10:15ish and their interview was delayed.. We were done with everything by 12pm (even though we were scheduled for 10:30) but they haven’t been interviewed by the time we were leaving. I guess the mess up happened because they were lateLast edited by SantaAnaAOS; 06-29-2019, 02:29 AM.
