Anything after response to request for evidence!!

Hi all,

I married to US citizen and I have I 485 case.

I received an RFE letter more than 70 days ago (request for birth certificate) and I sent my document immediately to USCIS and the website updated to: response to uscis' request for evidence was received!!
I have not heard back anything since then.

Is it normal time for this process? I am wondering if anyone have same experience? I am not sure what I have to do?

Hi, I have kinda similar thing. I had RFE/RFIE, replied and after a week I called USCIS, but it was regarding my 765 still not being processed and I filed second service request over the phone. In two days after this call, my 485 status was updated from "Response to uscis request for evidence was received" to status "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview". But the change probably happened only because I called about my 765 which probably triggered them to look into 485. My 765 was already 43 days out of normal processing time.

You should probably call USCIS and ask Level 2 officer if there is anything that they need from you. Usually they should reply/do update in 30 days, sometimes in 60 days, which you already passed.

I also received a RFIE regarding the Affidavit of support. The document was sent right away. According to USPS it was delivered on 08/30, however I have never reveived and update saying the USICS received it. Last week I called them, and the lady told me because my process is not outside the processing time, I just have to wait. I think I am going to call them again to see if something happens.
