Hello friends, I come to y'all again in hopes that I'll see someone who's gone through a similar situation to what I'm experiencing right now, before I start, let me break it down for you

    I-485. Family based adjustment.

Married to US Cit. (we have 3 children together)
Filed documentation in April, 2017. Biometrics were done shortly thereafter. Received EAD in August 2017 (I've already gone through a renewal)
I've been waiting since then, and my last update shows as of March 13th, 2018 my case is "ready to be scheduled for an interview".. and of course my I-130 hasnt updated since April 2017 either.. but I see others who've filed way after me and are already done. What is happening? should I be concerned about anything going wrong??

My local USCIS office is Oakland Park, FL.

I'm stuck on a complete standstill, I'm an EMT, soon to be Paramedic, and I cannot advance my carreer as I'd like because of the legal "limbo" I find myself in.. :/ Hell I don't know that I can even go hunting, I don't even want to move somewhere in fear that I'll mess something up :/ what is going on?

As usual, my gratitude to you all for your feedback. Good luck to all

I'm so sorry that it's taking so long. I am not sure there is something you can do. According to processing times, Oakland Park has 20 to 24 months processing time and are currently at October 23rd, 2016, so the system would not let you file a request for case outside of processing time

Maybe you should call uscis number and try to talk to Tier 2 officer, if there is any update on their end.
Reaching out to your congressman may be also an option, but I think they will receive answer that your case is still in the normal processing time and there is only wait.

I hope I am wrong and something can be done, if anybody has any idea.

Keep faith and finger crossed that your case will move to Interview scheduled soon!

To clarify, the Case Inquiry Date is NOT the same as the date they are currently processing. It's simply the date that falls outside the time it takes to process 93% of the cases.

I filed the request in system. I don't know was it just my turn, or it helped, my case was scheduled in a week or two after i filed.
I think if you file request and receive the answer that your case in normal processing time - i don't see any harm.

Usually info-pass doesn't help, but it might give you some answers and piece of mind that everything goes as it should.

It can be a lot longer, we have our interview just after 1 year from our PD so sit tight.
Some people are reporting faster timelines but it was because of a computer error that skipped 2017 filers so they had to go back and service by PD date
