    Hey guys,
I am posting this thread here because this forum has always been of a great help to me and it has always decreased my stress hearing other people's experience especially that I think my case has had all the bad encounters you'll ever face LOL, so I hope mine will help you guys too!

    So here's my timeline:
    Marriage: May 2017, Wichita, Kansas
August 24th: Did my medical examinations
Filed for AOS: November 29th, 2017
December 24th: Received a notification that USPS hasn't been able to reach me with one mail, so of course freaked out and called USCIS, reached out to L2 Officer who understood it is not my fault and sent me a new notice after updating my address
December 30th: Received a notice for AOS Fingerprints
January 8th, 2018: AOS Fingerprints collected
February 14th, 2018: Moved to Colorado Springs, made one InfoPass appointment to let USCIS know (not really important, you can just file change of address, but I am a very stressed person LOL)
April 1st: contacted congressman and ombudsman office in Colorado because my work permit has not been even processed yet and it has been almost 5 months
April 16th: Been hit by the most stressful notification ever; RFE for sponsor, my sponsor was not enough
April 20th: Replied back with a new sponsor form and they said that the clock will start over again :/
Surprisingly April 29th: Status changed to new card is being produced and got approved for the combo EAD card
May 1st: I-485 status changed to "Case is ready for being scheduled for an interview"
September 20th: Filed another request for the ombudsman office, almost one year and no notice for an interview
October 1st: Status changed to "Interview was scheduled"
October 8th: Interview notice to November 5th, 2018 in Denver Office
October 30th: Figured out it has been over one year on my medical exam and several opinions online has declared that you have to renew the medical exam, but of course did not have time for that
November 5th: Interview day, officer was so nice, we had more of a chat than an investigation or a fraud interview, my wife and I have been in love for over 3 years now, we literally have everything on both our names for years even before marriage, the officer just went through the applications and updated our jobs and addresses because we of course changed houses and even states lol, he went with us about our story like where did we meet, how did we meet, and then i started to show him pictures but he did not even care lol, he said i have enough documents, then he said according to the new medical examination rules, if you filed your AOS files more than 60 days after your surgeon signed them, so you have one year from the date your filed your application for validity, so luckily I had few days left before it expires!!!! Thank God!
November 5th night: Status changed on I-130 and I-485 to Case was approved!!! <3
November 6th: Card is being produced!!!
November 7th: Card is mailed out!!!!!
November 9th: Card was received in the mail!!!!!

Long story short, be confident, be patient, tell the officer the truth and only the truth, they will treat you back with respect! contact the ombudsman, they are of a great help <3
I filed with no lawyer, the whole process is pretty much self explainable on the website and you can always call their hotline for instructions or concerns!!

Good luck for you all and let me know if you got any questions!
