[QUOTE=ItsCW28;588709]I haven't received my EAD approval notice yet. I just got an update online today. When I checked, it showed my case was approved as of yesterday. I will let you know once I have it in hand. They print the date that it was approved and it will expire a year from that date. If it takes a few weeks to get to you, those are just weeks lost. Great system right? Everyone just hopes they receive it in a week or 2. I had an EAD 2 years ago once I graduated from college and that's how it was.

Thank you The wait has been terrible as you know.
CONGRATS! This EAD won't take that long to get to you. It reached us in 9 days. That's not too bad.

            I literally feel like crying

I got NOA in mail on Monday. I just called to inquire when I would actually get the card. The representative claims that I can wait up to 60 days to actually get the card produced. This wait really sucks and I am literally crying rigt now.

                SS in mail today !

I received my SS card tonight . My husband called me while I was at work and told me that he saw something in the mailbox from Social Security Administrative. Came home and opened mail. Card says ?Valid for Work only with DHS authorization?

I wouldn't say it's the worst... It's definitely not the best, but I definitely wouldn't call it the worst

I call them the worst - it took them 5 and a half months to even look at my application only to issue RFIE for something they already had, didn't file the returned RFIE so I had no way to get to it until I went for Infopass and now it looks like they didn't ask Social Security for re-issuance of my SSN. Called Social Security Office - they have no information in the system that my SSN was re-issued (as requested on I-765) with my married name. Went to SSOffice to apply for re-issuance, but didn't have certified copy of marriage license, so have to go again next week... Without it I can't go for drivers license test, or change info on our joint bank account.

So at least for my case - 240 days to received EAD and 252 days and counting to receive SSN - they are the worst
