As it appears that different field offices handle things very differently, would you share your experience with the Federal Plaza office?

I had an employment based I485 interview on 10/30 and it was a fairly positive experience in general. However, although the IO said he was going to approve our case, nothing happened after 3 weeks. Not sure how long it usually takes to see post interview updates? People in other areas appear to report almost instant update in many cases.

I am having interview in 2 weeks time could you please share your interview experience in more details. How early do we have to reach there? what time was your interview time? and what documents does the IO ask for employment based I-140 cases. How does IO go through I-485.....?
