Hi guys, I currently have a interesting situation about my combo card renewal.
I had my AOS interview on Oct 23, 2018, and got verbal approval but no updates ever since. I called Tier 2 on Oct 30 and went to Infopass on Nov 14 and was told "your interview officer hasn't made his decision yet" by both.
My combo card is expiring on Feb 14, 2019, so I submitted the renewal on Nov 16, 2018 (90 days from the expiration date).
Then on Nov 20, my I-485 status changed to "New Card is being produced" on DHS website (but not on EGov website). It looks like my interview officer finally made the move and approved my GC application.
So my question is:
* Do I need to withdraw my Combo card application?
* If yes, is calling the Customer Service (maybe tier 2 if necessary) the right way?
* As for the timing of withdraw, should I wait until I receive the I-485 approval notice?
