Uscis request for additional document

My husbabd filed adjustment of status for me and children on 8th of August 2018. I received the acknowledgement letter on September 9th. I got biometric appointment on September 14th 2018... I did the biometric on October 1st.

Now, I got a yellow letter for me and my children on Sept 21st asking my husband to send his tax 1040 form for 2017 because we only included the W2 we got from IRS.

I sent it to them on 10/16/18.. and the usps tracking shows it was received the next day.

Since then I haven't heard from them.. I've used the two uscis case status... no update since the first letter of Sept 9th.

It can be awhile, we did our biometrics 12/10/17 and then nothing till 4/18/18 when it changed to case ready to be scheduled. Then nothing till October when the interview was scheduled for late November
