  • Another Interview??? Help!

Hi I went to my initial interview with my wife on may 25.. when it was over, they worte something like pending on my passport.

Today I got a letter from the place i had the interview in, saying that I need to attend and need come to that same place again, the reason for that is I-130 APPLICATION FILED BY SPOUSE PETITIONER.

They are asking almost for the same things such as evidence that me and my wife have a bona fide relationship, AND they also asked for my I-94 that is on my passport and WHICH I DONT HAVE ANYMORE BECAUSE THe OFFICER WE HAD THE interview with TOOK IT!!!!

Guess when this interview is scheduled for??? May 9, 2007!!!!!

I'm sure there my be something wrong here, what do you think about this???

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
    Thanks

    For Daviddm

When did you enter the U.S. and what kind of visa did you have? Is your I-94 form Subject to two-year residence requirement? What did that officer take? That little white paper with your stamp which was in your passport? You should have somewhere I-94 for in tha A4 format where is the same stamp and also if you have any condition.
I am really sorry for you guys. I am going through the same problems now. I had my interview (together with my husband) on June 6, 2006 and now I am waiting for the answer...

      david,
thats an odd request.................an interview date a year in advance..thats quite unusual. I have heard of second interviews ...usually when the officer is not convinced that its a valid marriag e but not an interview in a years time.
There is on eadvantag ethough............you'll most likely be married for 2 yrs by then and so will not get a conditional green card

Why not schedule na ppt with infopass and talk to an immigration officer so that at least you'll ahv e an understanding of what is going on..............its always a good idea to make copies as at an interview the IO will not and will actually keep the origianls you offer. In the meantim ethough, you can reapply for your EAD

      I understand your frustration.
