I-485 interview Cancel before schedule interview date

Hi Expert,

I checked my application status online (https://my.uscis.gov/account/) and it says that they cancelled my interview and that they will send me a notice.....We haven't even had an interview date yet. In others site says ready for schedule interview from August,2018. My application PD is 12/22/2016 and field office NYC.

Do have any idea why they cancel the interview?

Our I-485 receipt date was 06/07/2017 and PD 12/22/2016. Which date would be considered for schedule interview?
