I-485 Still Pending After AOS Interview
Hello Experts,
Just trying to understand situation I might be in and looking for some feedback. After finishing my AOS interview (it lasted about 45 min), the Officer told me my application looks good, no changes needed and we both signed I-485 application. He said my date is current and my application could be approved, however he saw potential issue as I might have fallen out of my F-1 status back in College. Since then, I had OPT and H1B visa approved as well as extended and Visa stamps in my passport so I'm not sure what the issue could be. My hope is that it was a simple oversight or mistake but if not, is my application due for certain denial or there is some potential room to have it approved?
