Tell the level 1 to please escalate your call to a level 2. Then, give the Level 2 your A-number. When you do that, everything pulls up for them, ok? So then tell the level 2 if they may please place a request to re-schedule your interview. They will give you a case referral number. Write it down. That case referral ID will show on your case history page on the egov site. STILL... WRITE IT DOWN.

The request will go through the whole:
    - currently not assigned for processing
    - has been assigned to an officer for response
    - responded to your request
    - request completed.

This response will come from the field office. Make sure that you give the Level 1 and Level 2 an email. And for the love of the sweet baby Jesus, let that email be easy to spell. And when you spell it, use examples A as in APPLE, B as in BOY.

Call right at 8am and your wait time for a call back will be around 20 minutes.

    All the best,

    USCFFS
I'm not sure if i follow correctly. I already requested the interview to be rescheduled. it went through those request stages and i eventually got an email from the field office stating: We will reschedule your interview. You will receive a notice in the mail at the address we have on file.

You're saying i should call now to force them to schedule a new date?
L1 wasnt helpful but then again they never are, they can see what i see and promise me the world..
Going to see if i can get to an L2, the waiting times are much longer these days at uscis.
In the past i could ring and i would always immediately get an L1. Now even that takes 20-30 mins..
This is my opinion, not legal advice!

      Hello,

Looking at your timeline, it looks like you were ready to be scheduled for the AOS interview on 2/8/2018. Is that correct?

But they still haven't scheduled it?

more like a polite but determined shove in the right direction and then incessant crying because someone didn't have a lid on their coffee.
This is strictly an opinion and should not be misconstrued as legal advice. The use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

LOL, I must have been so forceful that it crashed the egov site. LOL all the receipts have a validation error. I have searched 2000.

spoke to L2 and all he could basically tell me was that i was put in the back of the queue for the Norfolk office.
generic stuff that doesnt really help at all.

Told me i could make an infopass, i said no thanks, that office is 4.5hrs away. Not going there to hear the same generic answers..

so here we are, im just hoping i get my AP renewed on time so i can travel back home to see my family in April, i dont care for the GC interview. Rather have it after may 30th so i get the 10yr thing.

So when I spoke to the L2 officer, of course, I asked her if she could see my spot in the queue. She said that I am in the "pick list", that is the interview queue BUT she does not have access to see where in the interview line I am or if I am next in line or number 30.

So really, the level 2 just told you that to get you off the phone.

Yes, very frustrating. All I can do is wait at the moment. I also moved and updated my address with USCIS but I hope they don't mess it up.

Well that he could tell me as well but that really doesnt tell us much now does it. He told me for instance that he cannot see how far ahead they schedule their interviews. I know processing time is anywhere between say 10-24 months but not all of that is an interview queue. Say they queue up to 6 months ahead it would mean im back in the end there unless someone reschedules or something.

It still all doesnt make much sense really, I had an interview scheduled first week op sept. I got that interview notice after I filed an address change.
Once they processed the change they cancelled that interview. I then within a week got a new interview notice for the new location, only a week later.
I asked to reschedule that and ever since it's somehow taking a very long time. I guess i got either real lucky with that timeslot or im getting punished now.

Either way, back to waiting patiently

Maybe the reason you gave them was not to their liking. It's hard to say. Getting selected for interview is random, as we have learned as of late. So to anyone reading this, avoid having to request to reschedule your interview unless you are on your death bed.

It is really hard to know what they are even thinking backstage. Rescheduling likely disrupts their workflow, and it probably takes a human deciding when it would be fair to reschedule your interview, given that others are waiting, as well.

According to the egov.uscis account, they sent a response via mail to the request for interview, that the Level 2 representative placed on Monday 12-03-18. I see it on USPS informed delivery and it looks thick. Usually responses to SR are a one page deal, and of course, mega generic.

So we shall see! I think it is just goint to be this response "USCIS has reviewed your Service Request. According to USCIS records, your application is waiting in line for interview scheduling".

Though, that is better than "The NBC has jurisdiction over your case and we have forward your request to that office" - it is still not an interview notice.

                          All the best,
