  • There's no "Fingerprint review completed" after biometrics ???

    Hi experts,

Need to check if someone has experienced the same.
    Priority date: 20-SEP-2018.
I did my biometrics on 30-OCT-2018, Dallas/Fort Worth to NBC.
and today 4-DEC-2018 (34 days passed),
i check on both DHS USCIS and USCIS Case online, it's still stuck at "Fingerprint Fee Was Received" and it is 34 DAYS already !!!!

so frustrating and loser-feeling for EAD card as I literally have no money in my wallet & 100% rely on my pregnant wife only ...

Anyone has any idea when they will finish review biometrics?
    Thanks!

I did mine on Oct 29th and still waiting patiently. Frustrated sometimes but I hope I’ll get an update soon. One site states fingerprint fee accepted while the other says case received.

Hope USCIS will go straight to Interview Letter or EAD silently sent to home or some kind of good news like that.

The USCIS updates are fairly random. Some officers update after they complete a step, others dont. I would not worry about the lack of updates. My status is still at fee received (5 months in processj but I know my case is processing becaus I received notificaton on my I-765 that the card is being produced.

I also checked with my lawyers and they confirmed that the lack of status updates has no meaning. I do understand it creates anxiety but it is not worrysome. The processing time for I-765 and I-131 is currently between 4 to 6 months. If you have a good reason to need expediting you can call them. Having a pregnant wife and no income may be enough to get expedited, especially if you have a job opportunity.

                      Hi Volkanic,

I had the same experience. My PD was 8/3 and biometrics was 9/6. It has been showing fee received ever since.
Until 11/24 I received a pink courtesy letter (issued 11/15, but took a week to mail to me)
Then 11/28 that my I-485 is updated to ready to be scheduled for an interview (it was down on 11/20, but the system did not update until 8 days later).
My EAD is still in the case was received status.

I would say it is quite common. What you can do is to call USCIS, and Tier 1 can tell you if your biometrics review is back.

If you use "Case Tracker" app, you can check 500 cases around you. Most cases around me are in the same status. That did comfort me somehow. At least I know I am not the only one fall into a black hole. When you see the majority of cases moving around your case, you know your turn is coming.

Try to expedite if you can. If not, try to keep yourself busy with other priorities: taking care of your wife, prepare for the interview, study for your industry license...

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that mine updated today, after 2 weeks. Looks just very random honestly, so let's just be patient and as long as we get our combo cards and then green card in time, that's what matters.

No need to panic and no need to do anything. USCIS is very random with updating the statuses. For example my I-765 and I-131 were approved after 5+ months, and the status on my I-485 still states 'fingerprint fees received'.

I would not worry about it.

                              Hi Blinky,

Do you use both websites? I find the first one has more information for my case.
                              https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do website

Besides my I-485 was shown "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" in about 120 days. I 130, I-765, and I -131 is still case was received (125 days by now)

I think your timeline is fine. If you use the first website, you may find cash date under each case's history. Definitely sign up for email and text alarm too.
