  • Any other way to speed up process?

I've been waiting for quiiiiiite some time now.

-I have done a couple of InfoPasses.

-I've contacted the Senator and Congressman. Both have told me to just wait it out.

Is there anything else that can be done?

Should i just keep on waiting or contact Ombudsman?

If you are outside of normal processing time please follow instructions here https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/dis...oPageType=onpt

If you are not outside of normal process time , there’s nothing to do but wait.

Thanks, but where exactly is the option to expedite AOS interview in the Processing Times page?

i'm within the 20-24.5 months so i "think" i'm within normal processing times.

        It way too early.

I first sent my package to USCIS in Feb end or early march 2018.
Just recently got done with I-485 interview.
So you are seeing like 3 to 4 months after you get your EAD/AP.
Also it depends on where your field office is etc...

First, stop making infopass appointments. This just slows down everyone including you. Instead of working on a case, an IO is tied up telling you nothing new.

I don’t think it can be expedited, but once you have the combo card, your life should function normally until you get the green card. I’m not really sure what benefit you’d base your expedite request on? Just cause? You can work and travel so you’d need some other compelling reason.

If you've looked at my signature you would have realized that my application was received in July of 2017. I have had my EAD and am already in the process of renewing it..

That's what i thought. Yea the infopass appointments were done a few months ago and i've read the announcements showing they're phasing them out.

I actually have a valid DACA until April still but my AOS EAD expired in October and am renewing it now so that i don't have to pay and renew DACA if it's not necessary.

I also don't have a reason to expedite, if one is required. So i will just wait it out then..

I looked at your signature and noticed an I 102 there. What's that all about? if it was for your I94 that's what held up your case for so long.

We are in the same boat. I applied 485 in sep 2017. Interview was scheduled once and then cancelled. But apparently now this is considered ‘normal processing time’ !!

Yea i lost my original I-94 so i had to get a replacement. And since i got here in 2001, that one website didn't have a copy of mine so i had to fill out a form to get a copy sent to me. Thankfully, that's taken care of.

You are definitely within normal processing times. so there's not much else you can do unless you have an extreme hardship situation or something along those lines. My advice, just be patient and wait.
