  • The USCIS case status system has been down since yesterday.

I am able to log onto my account, but get an odd validation error. I also looked up 500 receipts on the uscis tracker app, and ALL of them have a validation error.

    Does anyone have any thoughts?

Maybe only cases around your tracking number? Mine seem to work OK, app included, no validation error.

Nope, just tried these on the app.
      MSC1890800000 +500
      MSC1890900000 +500
      MSC1890990000 +500
      MSC1891000000 +500

All of these have a validation error. Can't find any without a validation error. Thoughts? When I tried the website, I am able to log on to my account, but get a validation error on my cases when I click on them.

At this point, I am wondering if they are phasing out the whole egov site.

That's so strange. I get a validation error for everything.

This is so strange. I am:
              1. able to check the egov site on safari on my phone. Logged on to my account just fine.
              2. not able to check my receipt numbers on chrome or firefox. I get the validation error even after logging into my account.

It's so weird. Thank you for looking up those and confirming that it works for you!

Also, quick comment: when I use the app and look up cases, I realize that they all receive updates basically on the same dates. How come? Anybody knows?

And just like that... the validation error is gone. I am able to log onto my account on my computer and click on all my cases. Still can't log onto the app. I have a feeling something is coming...

I start to get error like this from DHS website (See screenshot).
Is it validation error you are talking about?

Actually, your error is different. That just means that your IP address is locked out. You are probably using the app to search hundreds of receipts. It happens after a while. If the app is contantly running in the background that can happen, too.

The validation error I saw was this. I got it when I would just look up the receipt without logging in. I would also get it upon logging into the account after clicking on any of the cases.

It's gone now. It's just interesting. I have in front of me the response from the Field Office to the SR that the Level 2 officer sent on 12-04-18 asking them to reschedule the interview. It was cancelled 08-09-18

                      All the best,

Thank you. Yes, I used the app 9 times in half hour searching 500 case each time. I was trying to figure out where they were with EAD processing. I got nowhere but was locked out. I never had validation error you had.

I hope they reschedule your interview soon. I think it is close since they have your file. See quite a few postings on this forum that field office still have no file for these who is scheduled.

Yes, I think so. It is interesting becaus I have sent SRs before and the response I got twice was "USCIS has reviewed your Service Request and it has been determined that the National Benefits Center has jurisdiction of your application. Your Service Request has been forwarded to that office for processing."

So with this last response, they implied they have it or maybe it is in transit. LOL, I do not know. It would be rather early by Minneapolis Field Office standards BUT it has happened.

You know, we had already come to terms with waiting the quoted processing times of 16.5 months to 33.5 months BUT someone mentioned to my husband - "why don't you take your parents to the US? They will be better off there". So that peaked his interest.

I would also like him to be able travel to his country without fear of being punished for being married to a man. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/03/w...n-shariah.html If something were to happen, and all he has to show for is the AP, the US Embassy would shrug their shoulders.

Given that they cancelled the interview once, I figured it makes sense to assertively ask them to schedule it again. So we shall see. I would prefer to not have to go through removal of conditions, but I will gladly go through the process if that is what needs to be.
