She lost her passport/visa right before we had to go for the biometrics.
I'm afraid they will really nail us when we go to the interview and question why we lost the passport/visa. So wanted to know if someone had experience this before! I know I can pull the i-94 form from the web to show her entry points and travel history.
We actually had to get a new copy of her passport, we drove 10 hours to go pick it up but just want to prepare for what's to come. A day after we got her new passport we went for the biometrics and there were no issues with her biometrics and as of now, we are just waiting for them to schedule our interview.
Also - I have researched and dont seem to find any information about what to show if you are renting a room, in this case, we are still living with my parents as there was some financial priorities that came up right when I was about to purchase a house so there is no joint lease or anything that we have under our name. Once these financial needs are taken care of, we will be moving into an apartment until we can purchase a house.
I do pay rent to my parents and have been doing so ever since i graduated college. Aside from that, i have already opened a joint bank account, she's also on my phone information, added her to my health insurance from work and she's my beneficiary for my life insurance.
Thanks in advance!
