Thanks to you who have replied!
My interview notice arrived yesterday at my lawyer's office. We have our interview on June 11th!! (status changed to "interview scheduled on 5\4).
Now I am starting to get ready for the interview. I think since I never got an EAD\AP (and their status is still stuck on "my case was received"- not even a single update since December 14th),
t probably means I'm not getting them. However, unless they approve us on the spot (which from reading here seems possible but not very common) - I think we won't be able to go on our honeymoon... as we are supposed to leave one month after the interview.
If they approve on the spot, the GC may arrive by mail before we leave. Otherwise I don't see how it comes on time... Big risk as we are losing a lot of money if we cant go.
am grateful that it's finally happening, though!
But if it makes anyone feel better- my status has not changed online for a really long time too. So stay positive! mine was stuck on "fingerprint fee received" from December with no update until it switched to "ready to schedule interview" on April 24th. Never got "fingerprint review completed or anything like that...)

Another Connecticut filer here. Spouse of USC and Adjusting Status from F1.
Currently working using my F1-OPT which expires mid-July.
Concurrently filed I-485, I-130, I-765, and I-131.
December 24, 2018: Receipt Date
January 28, 2019: Biometrics Done (Hartford, CT). Online Status acknowledges.
May 15, 2019 (Today): No updates on anything. It’s been 142 days. Hoping that at least the EAD drops sooner rather than later.
Good luck to you all!

Hey guys, I posted in the main forum page too, but I wonder if anyone here has a solution.
My interview is in 3 weeks and I am working on my folders. As I was reading these threads, there are many forum helpers who uploaded files for others to use like table of content and lists of documents to bring to the interview.
https://www.immihelp.com/forum/adjus...interview-tips
However, when I click on the link that appears under attached files, a new tab opens and it says: Invalid File Specified
I have tried everything I could think of. Trued opening in different browsers, gave permissions on chrome for everything, checked user settings, even googled this error
I am desperate. Please hep me to figure out how to open those files! I am preparing for my interview and some users uploaded examples of table of content and other files that I would like to use but can't. I even tried looking at the help page for this forum but didn't find a solution.
Does anyone here have at least some of those files saved? I tried personally massaging UScitizenfilingforspouse but that user has maxed out on private massages...
Please be my hero and help me figure this out!

Hi ! I just want to share my experience. I have learned a lot from the posts here and I want to show appreciation by writing my experience.
Applied for AOS (I-485 for me and my minor daughter), EAD, Advanced Travel Document, I-130 (for me and my minor daughter), I-864 (affidavit of support, from my USC husband)
The process took 5 months to complete and I am very happy with the speediness of the process.
Dec 10,2018 - Package received at Chicago Lockbox
Dec 14, 2018 - Notice of Action (I-797) received for all applications
Dec 21, 2018 - Notice of Action for Biometrics appointment
Jan. 10,2019 - Biometrics at Tampa Office (Took 10 minutes, my hair was not cooperating)
No word from USCIS
I would check online obsessively. I had my case numbers memorize. Each form has a different case number. Again, checking obsessively.
Mid-March 2019 - We sent a letter to expedite Advanced Parole Document as I needed to travel before April 25,2019, we did this because we went to my USCIS Office and asked about expedition, this was their advice, to write a letter to expedite.
We had documents translated and attached and sent it to Lee's Summit MI as that was where my Notice of Action letters were coming from, meaning they were handling my case. We sent it thru UPS.
April 16, 2019 - I check online, My EAD and Advance Parole Document were granted and in the mail!
April 17, 2019 - Notice of Action for I-485 interview for me and my daughter.
April 18, 2019 - I get my SSN card in the mail.
May 23, 2019 - Interview day! Approved on the spot!!!
IO was straight forward. He asked:
How did you meet?
What did you do on your first date?
When did you get married?
Did you have a reception?
He asked my daughter only of her name and birthday, she's a minor. those are the only questions they can ask.
He said, I sent USCIS a ton of documents that almost hurt my case because they were a lot to comb thru. My husband said, yes but she also sent in a Table of Contents.
He said, you guys are the last batch of people who were allowed to send in paper documents. We're going digital, he said.
He asked if we filled out the forms. I said, I filled out all the forms and my husband double checked and triple checked it.
He said, " How did you manage to fill them out correctly, by reading the instructions ?" I said yes.
Then he said, "Ok I-130 granted, he stamps on one form. Now that's approved, a visa becomes available to you so no I can stamp your I-485".
"Congratulations, now, you are legal permanent residents of the USA".
"You have to come back in 2 years to apply for removal of restrictions of your green card". "You can apply for that 3 months before the 2 years".
"In 3 years ,you can apply for a US citizenship, you can apply for that in 2 years and 9 months".
That's it! It took 5 months. From December 10,2018 to May 23, 2019.

Questions were:
How did you meet?
First date?
Does he have family?
What's your husband's job?
What's your wife's job?
Just like a normal conversation, don't be too tense and nervous. Believe me, I didn't sleep the night before the interview.

06/11/19 - New card mailed out
Here is how my interview went:
We checked in 45 minutes early at Sacramento center.
The person who interviewed us went straight to the point after we sit down. He asked us some very basic questions as below:
Where did you meet? When did you start dating? When did you move in together?
Then he requested to see all the paper we had that had our names on it. We handed him our car paper, car insurance paper, our bank statements, life insurance that has our names as beneficiaries of each other, our wedding invitation, our boarding passes from all the trips that we went together.
He did ask us about the bank statements of every month we have opened account together. I brought only the first and the most recent statements though. However, he seemed like he was ok with that.
Then, he went through those legal questions that we answered "no" to all of them.
After that, he said " congratulations" and instructed us about next time filing for 10-year green card.
For those who are preparing for the interview, don't stress out. Just prepare as many papers as possible. They don't really care about your stories. All they want to see is evidence.
Good luck to all of you guys!
