Hope everyone is doing well.

I received my Green Card, valid for 2 years.
I did all paperwork by myself, with great help from all the discussions in various forums on this website.

Just want to share my timelines, so others can have an idea.

A little about my situation

I've been in USA on work VISA since 2013.
I got married in Nov-2017.
Myself and my wife both work.
I started this GreenCard process one year after marriage, in December 2018 due to some personal reasons
My field office was Newark NJ.

Here's my complete timeline

2019-Jan-11 ------ Received 4 I-797C With Receipt Number and Priority dates as 2019-Jan-07

2019-Jan-30 ------ Biometrics appointment letter received
2019-Feb-02 ------ Online Address Changed for Form I-485,I-131,I-765 (Not sure, if my wife completed Address change for I-130 or not)
2019-Feb-04 ------ Courtesy Letter on Yellow paper, Received from USCIS for missing I-693.
2019-Feb-11 ------ Biometrics Completed at Newark New Jersey

2019-Feb-11 ------ Online Status - Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview "As of February 11, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485 ... for An Interview" .
2019-Mar-18 ------ Online Address Changed for Form I-130 (I Don't know if on Feb 4 address for I-130 was changed or not)

2019-April-04 ------ I-765 Online Status - We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
2019-April-04 ------ I-131 Online Status - We approved your Form I-131, Application for Travel Document,
2019-April-15 ------ I-765 Online status - We ordered your new card.
2019-April-20 ----- I-765 EAD Online Status - Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office
2019-April-23 ------ Checked my mailbox and got EAD and Advance Parole combo card

2019-Aug-01 ----- I-485 Online status - We scheduled an interview for your Form I-485…...
2019-Aug-05 ----- I-485 interview appointment letter received. Interview Date September 19
2019-Aug-13 ----- I-693 Booked an appointment from a civil surgeon for Immigration physical.
2019-Aug-19 ----- I-693 Immigration physical done by civil surgeon, charged $300 fee.
2019-Sep-26 ------ After blood report arrive, there was a vaccine needed, doctor gave that vaccine and gave me a sealed I-693.
2019-Sep-19 ------ I-485 Online status - We approved your Form I-485,
2019-Sep-19 ------ I-485 Online status - We ordered your new card.
2019-Sep-23 ------ I-485 Online status - We mailed your new card your Form I-485

2019-Sep-25 ------ RECEIVED THE GREEN CARD

For interview, at the newark NJ location, we arrived there before 6:30 AM, waited outside the building until door opened.
we were the second couple to enter the building and to registered at that counter.
But still we were not the second one to get interviewed. I'm not sure what order they were following.
I saw many people arriving later and leaving even before we were called in.
I got to know that many people were given same timeslot for morning interview .
Still, we were out of the building by 9-9:30 after a 40-45 min interview.

few tips for interview

Just be truthful,
Bring Originals of US citizen's documents, like US passport, Birth certificate, Driving License, SSN, salary slip etc whichever you have if not all.
Bring Immigrant spouse, Passport, VISA, SSN (if you have), Birth Certificate & English translation of any document that is in foreign language.

If there's a change in any document since you filed originally, bring the new documents.
In our case, we filed join apartment lease with I-130, but we changed the apartment in Feb, so we brought new lease agreement, also new joined car / home insurance etc.

We also took, 20-30 photos, of us together and with our family trips. The USCIS officer kept few of those photos.

Congrats!! My FO is Newark as well. My interview was scheduled on Nov, but unfortunately my interview was cancelled... now my status is back to case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

I called USCIS today and talked to Level 2 officer as I have not even got interview call. Basically it was waste of time. Told me that it can take anywhere upto 42 months..

Hello December filers,
It’s been very exciting to see some interview approvals happening already! Congrats! Our Interview is scheduled for December 10, 2019 in Fairfax, VA.
We front loaded the application with pictures, joint bank info, text communication since start of relationship, travel documents, pictures, letters from family. Very excited about the new evidence we have to submit: joint health insurance, 401k, hotel/travel documents, apartment lease, new pictures with family, letters from family/friends and our animals vet information.
Unfortunately, our PD was 63 days after the doctor signed the medical form, so hoping to get that re-certified today by the doctor.
Staying positive as we get the final stuff together for the interview.

Interview Date- 03/25/2019

As you can see I had my interview was almost 11 months ago
it was a quick 20 minutes regular interview with no trick questions or issues.
at the end we’ve asked the officer when should we receive an answer and she said “all looks good, provide by the end of the week”.
10 and some months later and no answer.

I have sent many inquiries and call many times.
most of the time the answer was that-

USCIS) is currently processing your application. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for a decision, as the required security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

I have 0 criminal history or any other records.

After 14 months (in Feb 2020) my case transferred to NBC. Now waiting again for "ready to schedule interview"..

Hi anyone here that is having the same problem with me?

USCIS sent a RFIE for my i-485 on 02/04/2020 then i received a notice 03/04/2020 that the post returned the notice to USCIS because they couldnt deliver it due to my name is missing on our mailbox.
i requested a new notice and they let me waited for 18 days and i didnt heard anything from USCIS and i called them and they connected me to tier 2 officer and they send the RFIE thru my email. They received my response on RFIE on 3/20/2020 and its been 20 days when i heard anything from them.

I know someone that filled their petition last 01/17/20 then they received their RFIE 3/18/20 then USCIS received their response last 3/25/20 after that their status on USCIS was changed to " Ready to schedule for interview "

anything that i can do with my case? please help.

I suggest that the December 2019 filers make a ******** so we can get updates on our case.

why all that wait ? Which state are you in . I can’t believe someone will wait almost 2 years for family based green card . Did you have interview?

I don't think gooddoc case is FB (marriage), in an early post mentioned looking at the May 2020 visa bulletin so my guess is that it was EB application.
