Hi December and Iowa Filers!

Hi everyone,

In your I-797C for I-130, do you have anything under "Class (If Applicable)"? Anyone knows what it is? I'm currently a F1 student and thought F should be my class but that cell was left blank for me on the notice.

Excellence! Good to see everyone having some movement and progress with the application process.

I noticed for the most part that the first 1.5 month progress up to finger print appointment is relatively consistent for everyone. After finger print appointment, all bets are off on the 485 side of things with plenty of more factors involved like which field office you are associated with, completeness of your evidence, which desk your files are sitting on at USCIS, specifics of your case etc.

I applied on December 23, by December 26th I?ve got two messages and couple days after notices at the mail. I?ve done my fingerprints on 22nd of January and I was surprised that there were nobody else but ME! Crazy but I?m glad it took just 3 minutes. Now the waiting game is on... I hate it and I wish uscis would send us more notifications that will make me feel much better lol

Done with my fingerprints on 22nd too! But haven't got any updates since then I know I'm so impatient lol

Did you guys received an update on your status when the USCIS sent a letter for the biometrics?
I am growing so impatient with my process. Everything is so slow and lots of things going wrong. :/

I did not receive any change in my status. Just a NOA in the mailbox saying that I have a bio appointment

After "Fingerprint Fee Was Received" just a letter with the date of the appointment. We went the day the letter said. 3 for the family and only the principal changed to "Fingerprint Review Was Completed". I hope everything is ok for the dependents.

I read that some people doesn't change until they approve the EAD or other change like case ready to interview.

I sent my aos since Dec 12th,i don't receive any receipt from uscis, neither cashed my check, i guess i screwed up

I reapplied lol first time I made a wrong payment and they sent everything back.. but I have no patience..

Don?t wait then. Call them and find out what?s going on. Thry say it takes up to 10 business days to process your documents and stuff so after 10 days don?t be shy to call. Especially because you?re paying a crazy money for it. Good luck!
And honestly a lot of people don?t even get any notifications..I have no idea why. Even if they get all the mails but online nothing.
