See I was thinking the same thing but at the top of the I9 form it states employees may present one selection from list A or a combo of one selection from list B and one selection from list C.

The EAD with photo is on list A, so there is no need to bring anything from list B and C.

Okay, so your the second person to say that and I just googled it and found this link https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/71...-residents-lpr. I am not sure why I am asked to present 2 documents (one of which is normally my US passport) when I fill out an I9. Will be printing this link out. Thanks!

              • So I finally have an update...Hope this will bring good news soon!

                PD 12\14\2018
                Biometrics notice in mail 12\21\18
                Biometrics appointment completed on 01\22\19
I never had a change in my online status since 12\14 when it said "my case was received"
Until last week. 4\24 "case ready to be scheduled for interview"
                Yesterday 5\4- "interview was scheduled"
No date on the online website. So I guess I will have to wait till the notice comes in the mail to find out when the interview is.
The bad news is my I-765 and my I-131 have never moved. They are still stuck on "my case was received" from 12\14.
My lawyer says it means they decided to give me an interview and not even bother with EAD\travel card. But that is worrisome to me because even if the interview is soon, what are the chances I will actually get the GC by July 13? we won;t be able to go to our honeymoon

Can you share for those of you who had an IV without a combo card- how long did it take from your interview till you got the GC in your hands?

                Thanks guys!

I received my interview scheduled update and notice before receiving my EAD. Maybe a week later, so even though you received them the other way around, I think your EAD/AP will be coming soon. Additionally myinterview was scheduled for 6 weeks after the update so hopefully you will get the card before your honeymoon

                    • This forum has been a great source of information for me ever since my first date of filing. So I think I should share some experience with my case as I'm one of the Dec filers!

                      Here is my journey timeframe:

                      12/14/18 - Package Mailed out.
                      12/20/18 - Package Received.
                      1/11/2019 - Bio Completed
1/14/2019 - Ready to be schedule for Interview.
03/22/19 - Ready to order EAD card
03/26/2019 - We mailed your new card
03/30/2019 - Combo card in hand
                      05/02/19 - Interview was scheduled.

I am waiting for the actual interview notice in my mailbox. Well, we already bought the tickets to go back to my homeland in the end of June. According to some of you guys here, the interview is scheduled 5-6 weeks away from the date stated "Interniew was scheduled" on the website. Hopefully we can make it before our trip. Or else, I'm screwed!

                      • I have been following this Forum for a while now and I am joining the discussion today to ask whether anyone is in the same situation as I describe below:
Filed AOS 12/12/2018 ( Forms I-130, I-485 concurrently) Sponsored by my son.
                        Biometrics 01/14/2019 completed
Received Notice of Action to send 2019 Tax Forms for my son
                        Sent forms Feb 27 2019
on 8th March 2019 I received Courtesy Letter that I-693 was not submitted and that I will be required to submit evidence at a later date.
Also stated that if I received an interview notice in the mail, I must bring this information to the interview appointment.
Did not receive any Interview Notice as of yet.
However, on April 30th I received a "Request for Evidence" letter
It states that I should submit Form I-693 by mail in order for a final decision to be made on my case.

What does this mean? Why no interview?? Do I interpret this to mean that I may not have an interview?
                        Anyone knows?? Thanks

on 8th March 2019 I received Courtesy Letter that I-693 was not submitted and that I will be required to submit evidence at a later date.

Thanks
