I filed in Jan. Seeing December filters get interview scheduled gives me hope lol

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is doing well.

I've received and EAD valid until April 2020.

Since February 11, My case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview, but no update since then.
It has been many months since filing, Should I be worried or this is normal time ?

Also do we have any filer from Newark New Jersey area ?

I did not send I-693 as per suggestions online.
I did receive a curtsy letter because of the same
Seems this has caused the delay.

Here's my complete timeline

2019-Jan-04 ------ Credit card charged with 2 different transactions from USCIS - $535 & $1225
2019-Jan-07 ------ Received 4 text messages With 4 Receipt Numbers
2019-Jan-11 ------ Received 4 I-797C With Receipt Number and Priority dates as 2019-Jan-07

2019-Jan-30 ------ Bio metrics appointment letter received
2019-Feb-02 ------ Online Address Changed for Form I-485,I-131,I-765 (Not sure , if My wife completed Address change for I-130 or not)
2019-Feb-04 ------ Courtesy Letter on Yellow paper, Received from USIS for missing I-693.
2019-Feb-11 ------ Bio metrics Completed at Newark New Jersey

2019-Feb-11 ------ Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview "As of February 11, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485 ...... for An Interview" .
2019-Mar-18 ------ Online Address Changed for Form I-130 (I Don't know if on Feb 4 address for I-130 was changed or not)

2019-April-04 ------ Online Status - We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
2019-April-04 ------ Online Status - We approved your Form I-131, Application for Travel Document,
2019-April-15 ------ I-765 Online status - We ordered your new card.
2019-April-20 ----- I-765 EAD Online Status - Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office
2019-April-23 ------ Checked my mailbox and got EAD and Advance Parole combo card

I filed in newark as well. Feb 12 was my last update of “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”

Lol. I get pumped seeing anyone in the range getting interviews. I check December, January, October and my actual month of November. I just want the waiting done. I know there are others in worse situation than me because my husband got his EAD and is in the US, but we didn't apply for AP because we thought we needed to have defined travel plans and didn't' at the time of filing in November. . We filed for AP in June but highly doubt we will get in time to visit his family for Christmas .

I filed in Dec and my case status is still Fingerprint review was completed. You are not alone. I've been waiting forever as well.

I even know one with same field office with me, same visa cat, filed on Jan 2019 and got scheduled for an interview next month. Not sure if USCIS does work on first come first serve basis.

Word. Idk maybe it varies by case. I have daca and married a US citizen.

Received interview date on July 26th. Interview scheduled for Aug 27th

Congrats! How long did you wait for the interview letter to come in the mail after the status updated to "Interview was scheduled"?

It arrived on the 24th, that’s about 7 days from when status notification came in

Nice good to to know. On July 25 we got the notification about interview is scheduled and I had the same question as to how long it takes to be scheduled and then what the time frame is for scheduling.

I think 7 days is probably accurate. Ours took 9 days, but that's because we received text notice on July 3 and the holiday weekend inevitably delayed mail service.

Hello,
I have been reading on immihelp for a long time, now i'm posting my timeline for december 2018 filing.
I applied for Work Authorization, i did not get it before the GC interview.
Marriage based application.

Priority date : December 27, 2018 ( It took a week to get the notices in mail)
Biometrics appointment : January 22nd 2019 ( Received the letter two weeks before the appointment)
RFE : April 17th 2019 ( The letter was received a week after it was produced, need current year tax returns)
RFE received : May 7th 2019
Courtesy letter i-693: June 11th 2019
Interview being sceduled : June 20th 2019
Green card interview : July 29th 2019
Card is being produced : July 30th

The process is long, and it takes as long it takes. Patience is the biggest virtue needed to go through this, hope this post helps.

That really sucks! I highly doubt they work on first come first serve method. I have seen here people who filed at the same time or later than me and already have their ead and I'm still waiting for mine.

Just got a notification that EAD card is being produced, finally something after so long!
