We were given a letter of recommendation for approval and the officer said I should receive my green card within two weeks. My lawyer was present at the time and he chatted her up pretty good. She asked for our birthdates and full names like twice and for the wedding date. She asked for proof of our new address and that was about it. My lawyer said that it went great. Interview was very brief and she really didn’t ask for more stuff aside for the new address bills and stuff. We were there maybe like 10 mins or less.

Hey guys, please help me to understand it!
My case was approved on Nov 20 (I got approval notice by mail) but I did not recieve the cards yet. I showed my concern to the attorney and she contacted USCIS, they asked her to make the service request saying there was a clerical mistakes on their side. I saw many stories telling the service requests are pending for more than three months sometimes plus this government shutdown now!! Do you think the service request may take long like more than three months or is there anything else I can do? Your help is much appreciated.

I would recommend contacting your local congressman/woman and explain the situation. When they inquire about your case usually the balls rolls a bit faster.
