Can removal proceedings be canceled without going to immigration court?

I was in removal proceedings for more than 9 years. I recently got married and applied for adjustment of status. I was mailed both the approved I-130 and I-485 with the green card. Do I still need to go to court to have the removal proceedings canceled? Or does the approved I-485 with the green card imply that the removal proceedings have been canceled?
