My Final Action PD is current as of Jan, so I’m hoping to go from L1/AP to PR next month. Some questions:
1. Does USCIS issue all the visa numbers/approve all ready for approval straight away at start of the month or is it throughout the month?
2. We did our interviews and everything. I today learned of this I-551 stamp that apparently I may need? Is this correct? Until now I thought they would just approve and send us the card.
3. At what point do I legally become a PR? Is it at the point of I-485 approval, this I-551 stamp or when I get the card? This is important for a specific mortgage I want that is only open to PR/Citizen and I want to apply immediately when I’m legally considered PR so I don’t lose the house I want.
