Hi everyone,
So when I got marriage, I changed my last name into my husband last name. So now on my marriage license, it shows my husband last name and my first name. But i have not changed my driver license, and my SSN accordingly. But when the one helps me to file for my case, she used the name on the marriage license.
Now i dont know if i should go to DMV to update my name or wait until my case is approved and i get greencard then go change my driver license.
The thing is that my DL was based of my student visa and my i-20 which is under my maiden name and that wont be changed until i can change my passport, which i cant do it now.
So should I just update my name on DL and SSN for now? And will it affect my paper work at my school?
