Is INFOPASS advisable ?

There is no update regarding my employment based I-485 application since it was transferred to NBC on May 4th. My application was received by USCIS on January 2018. With many field offices no more accepting Infopass is it advisable to take Infopass appointment while my field office still provides it ?

With most people at least seeing Ready to Schedule Interview I am just trying to find out if I am in line for interview or if my application is stuck in some other process

Isn’t it handled by the company? If you go there by yourself, would it make any different?
For employment based gc, I think they do have premium processing.
