I am no longer getting the byweekly automated email that states “We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on August 13, 2018.” Is this happening to everyone?

Why is the immediate family process taking so long?

If anyone can help ease my worries I would appreciate it.

    Thank you

    This is my timeline:

3-21-18 USCIS received my response to RFE for I-485. NBC working on the case
7-30-18 USCIS sent a request for Initial evidence for I-485. NBC working on the case
8-9-18 USCIS received a response to RFE for I-485. NBC working on case

Every two weeks I received an automated email stating “We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on August 13, 2018.”

Field office is determined by the zipcode, you can do a lookup at the USCIS website. The NBC does not process AOS.
The application number may start with MSC but it will still get transferred to the field office assigned to your zipcode.
Employment based AOS (EB1C) - San Bernardino office(CA)

        JUL - 2018 - applications for I-485, I-765 and I-131 concurrent filing
        AUG - 2018 - bio metrics complete
        DEC - 2018 - I-765 & I-131 approved
        DEC - 2018 - combo cards received
        DEC - 2018 - courtesy letter for missing I-693
DEC - 2018 - social security cards received
        DEC - 2018 - interview for I-485 scheduled
JAN - 2019 - interview & on the spot approval
        FEB - 2019 - I-485 approved

I see by your profile that you are in Phoenix Az. I ran the times for processing a I485 and it says:
          Work Based-8 - 20.5 months with a case inquiry date of 05/08/2017
Family Based is 16 - 32 months with a case inquiry date of 06/05/2016
Looks like you are in for a little Waite. See if you can find any other board members from your area and see how they made out.
