Yes, definitely good news considering a few weeks ago, the time was 18.5 months to 30.5 months... I just checked again and the receipt date for case inquiry has moved up even more from May 26, 2017 to June 1, 2017. Its a little progress but little progress is still progress!

SF field office est. wait time

          Hey all,

So in looking up some forums on visa journey, specifically having to do with the SF FO, it looks like they?re interviewing July 2017/August 2017 AOS filers. Someone who filed on 7/20/17 got their interview for 1/22/19. Looks like roughly a year and a half wait, maybe a little less, a little more... but thought that was a good guesstimate. According to this timeline, it looks like my interview will be a year from now... hoping for sooner as the waiting is killing me! Definitely gonna have to renew the EAD/AP and pay for ANOTHER medical...

Lol, I think I also have to wait for at least a year. Well, I kinda hope that it will come a year later so that I don't need to file Form I-751 to remove the conditions but receive a 10-years GC instead. Apparently the wait for I-751 is even longer than I-485.

Waiting for the interview feels like forever.

I filled on July, 2018. As of August 28th, 2018 my case "is ready to be scheduled for an interview" according to the USCIS website. 8 months after filling, I'm still waiting or some news. My lawyer told me it takes between 12-14 months for the interview to be scheduled, but I was hoping someone had a different experience.

Hi BayAreaCali, did you file 4 months before the expiration of your combo card? Or it was within 6 months of expiration? I've read that there is no cost if we renew combo card, just want to confirm with you if that's true. Many thanks!

Hi Keldreams, did you have to submit other documents other than the form I-765 and I-131 for renewal? I am preparing my documents right now, not quite sure if I need to resubmit those documents (such as passport copies, photos etc). Also, did you send your renewal package to Chicago (address below)?

Hi! I think the only other form I submitted was the G-28. I had my lawyer submit my renewal application as he has done all the paper work for me since I first submitted my DACA application. I did have to send him 4 passport photos. I think the second Chicago address because we sent it through FedEx.
