Thanks everyone for your response. So once i submit the forms in a single package, will they mail me the Receipt notice & the Biometric appointment? Can someone guide me what will happen after i send the forms to USCIS via mail.

Thanks. Looking at your signature, it seems like you got an interview notice 5 days after the bio appointment?

Nope. That was just the update on my I-485. From what I've read here, it just means that the NBC has completed fingerprint reviews and my case is now in line to be scheduled at the local field office (SF).

There's plenty of information both on this forum and elsewhere on the Internet about the whole process. To summarize, once you mail in your application, USCIS will issue receipt notices (or, NOAs - Notice of Action) for each of those forms. The NOAs will also contain a A(Alien)-number assigned to your case. The A-number can be used to track case progress via the USCIS website. The accompanying checks will then be en-cashed and the completed forms reviewed. If any discrepancies are found, you'll be mailed a RFIE/RFE (Request for (Initial) evidence). Once resolved (or none found), a biometrics appointment will be scheduled at your local USCIS office typically within 4-6 weeks. The collected information is then used to perform background checks. Provided they come back clean, your EAD application is assigned an officer for review. Your AoS application meanwhile, will be then be added to the queue for the appropriate field office of your case. When your turn comes up, they'll schedule an interview and transfer your case to the local field office. Pending approval at the interview, you'll be issued a 2 year Conditional Green Card (if your marriage is less than 2 years old) or a 10 year GC.

Hope this helps. Please do some research on your own to understand the process better. There's plenty of websites/forum posts that go into great detail about the process. Good luck!

My spouse is a current H1B holder. I'm a U.S. citizen. Do I need to submit the I-864 form (affidavit of financial support)?

Hi guys, I need your help. I am on h1b visa right now and I just got married last week and we're going to file our AOS Concurrent Filing this month. I just want to ask if I still need to submit I-693 together with Concurrent filing of I-130 & I-485 + I-765?

              Thank you!

No. You can wait on the medical until you have an interview scheduled. You also need i-864,i-130A ( didn't see them listed above) and i-131 optional. Consider starting a new thread of your own.
