    "Case Rejected Because I Sent An Incorrect Fee"

    The update on my I-765 says that they rejected my application because I didn't send the correct fee and they sent the package back.
    I sent the I-485, 131 and 765 together. On the same they they rejected my 765, they collected the money $1225 and accepted the other 2 forms.
    I don't know how many time the USCIS can screw me over.
    Anybody on the same boat?

    11/16- I-485,765 and 131rejected
    12/22- New I-485, 765 and 131 sent
    12/27- Documents delivered at 10 am (UPS)
    01/14- Credit Card was charged
    01/14- text messages for I-485 and I-131
    01/22- Received form I-765 back. Got rejected due to incorrect fee??
    01/23-Submitted I-765 again.
    01/31- Early Biometrics appointment
    02/01- Fingerprint Review was completed
    07/30- case is ready to be scheduled for ...
    08/31-EAD in hands
    10/22- Interview (approved)

    Who knows? Maybe something wasn’t checked correctly. When you get you receipt for the 485, fill the 765 app again (rereading the instruction document carefully).

    I-485 Status - "Biometrics Fee Received": 10/28/17
    Biometric Appointment (11/16/17) Received: 11/3/17 Done: 11/9/17
    EAD/AP Approved: 1/4/18 (Day 77) Notices & Card Received: 1/11/18
    EAD/AP Renewal Received: 10/4/18
    Interview Notice & EAD/AP Renewal Receipts Received: 10/9/18 (Day 355)
    Interview date: 11/13/18 ~ New Card Being Produced (Day 390)
    Card in hand! 11/23/18 (Day 400)

      Same thing happened to me. My lawyer resubmitted and it was fine.

        Did he send a payment, or did he just resend the packet?
