Its been 10 months since we have filed. My case was transferred from San Jose to SF field office due to my address change.
Anyone else from Bay Area waiting for their interview?

I filed a I-130 and I-485 at the same time on 1/19/2019 for my elderly father who became ill while visiting on a tourist visa and couldn’t return to the UK. Biometrics and medical have been done. Is anyone else in a similar position and what is your current situation? I have now filed a I-131 AP request for a visit to the UK in May 2020 - hope to have either his green card or AP by that time.

My interview is scheduled for November 21st .. i have all the documents ready except health insurance and car ( can’t afford rn ) should i still push my self to get insurance or just go with whatever i have and tell them I can’t afford that .

Singh2403 If it was me, I would not buy an insurance that I could not afford. Interviewing officer would certainly understand if you are upfront and explain the situation if he/she asks about car insurance. Best of luck to you.
