  • Can government shut down affects uscis?

This Monday will be 1 month since USCIS received my Aos in Phoenix Texas. So far my check hasn't been cashed and I haven't received any letter from them. Do you guys know how long it takes for them to at least cash my check?

not supposed to, we fund it with our application fees. I would give them a call. That's a long time to be waiting.

I read somewhere that the Department of the Treasury deals with processing AOS payments, not USCIS. While IOs haven?t been effected, the DoT employers have been furloughed. My guess is that if that is the case, payments won?t be cashed until the government re-opens
