  • Green Card after Removal Order - HELP

Please help me figure this out.

My asylum case was denied about 10 years ago, and I was ordered to be removed. But I've had a renewable temporary legal status couple months before the final decision on the asylum case. I've been keeping that status since then. About a year ago, I got married then submitted simultaneously I-130 and I-485 to USCIS. After the interview, both I-130 and I-485 were approved, and the green card was mailed to me. Recently, I've called this immigration number 1-800-898-7180 and found that my removal order is still in my record.

    1. Should I fill out any form with the immigration court to terminate the removal order?
    or
    2. Does the approval of my I-485 by USCIS mean that the removal order has been terminated?

This is very strange, maybe consult an immigration lawyer? Did USCIS officer explain what you should do after you called them?

I don't recall if I did, but the immigration officer mentioned that I was ordered to be removed in the interview. My spouse had to fill out an exemption form for the I-130 to be approved, and the officer asked us to submit more evidences. After submission of the requested documents, I received the approved documents and the green card in about a week.
