  • Do I Need a New Updated Medical??

So I did my medical on 2/23/2018, and sent the sealed medical with the whole package on 3/2/2018.
I got a notification the other day saying on 1/18/2019 they have scheduled my interview, haven't got the letter but I'm assuming it would be on or around 2/18/2019,
I know medical expires in a year, schedule is pretty tight, I would have the interview like RIGHT BEFORE my medical expires.

Now do I need to go and do another medical?? Any suggestions??

    Thanks!!!
    PD - 3/2/2018
    Biometrics - sometime in April
    RFIE - 7/3
Response to RFE received - 7/16
Case ready to be scheduled for interview - 8/14
EAD is being produced - 9/4
Combo card in hand - 9/11
    Interview is scheduled - 1/18/2019
    Interview - 2/26/2019

From what I have seen in this forum, and other cases similar to this.

You can either go in for the interview and more than likely the officer will tell you you need a new exam so your case will not be approved until you provide the new medical.

    Or

You can go in for a new medical exam prior to your interview and have it ready to avoid the scenario above. Personally, I would go in for a new medical prior to the interview to avoid any delays in case your case is well prepared that you get approve on the spot.

Yeah I'm gonna go get a new medical soon just to be safe, wouldn't want the case to be delayed again.. Thank you!
