    did not receive my work permit yet

    I received 3 letters from immigration that my case was received on 08/10/2018 , till now heard nothing from them, what I have to do in this case .and my wife is pregnant and I have to drive her to hospital , but since no EAD card means no license

    what do I have to do in this case

      If you have done biometrics already you can ask for expedite based on humanitarian reasons. Reason would be that wife pregnant and you need to help out more now.

        I am sorry to hear that. I think this whole thing is so unfair. Some people get their process done so fast,others wait a lifetime just for one update. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.
        Call them and ask if they have any update on your case.
        I have had the worst of luck with this whole thing, but we will get through it.

        12/22- New I-485, 765 and 131 sent
        12/27- Documents delivered at 10 am (UPS)
        01/14- Credit Card was charged
        01/14- text messages for I-485 and I-131
        01/22- Received form I-765 back. Got rejected due to incorrect fee??
        01/23-Submitted I-765 again.
        01/31- Early Biometrics appointment
        02/01- Fingerprint Review was completed
        07/30- case is ready to be scheduled for ...
        08/31-EAD in hands
        10/22- Interview (approved)

          I guess it depends on your jurisdiction, but certainly here in DC the initial I-797C was enough to get my licence. YMMV of course.
          UK citizen married to US citizen 10/19/2018

          11/1 - I-130, 131, 485, 765 sent to Chicago lockbox
          11/2 - Priority date
          11/14 - 4 x I-797C
          11/19 - Biometrics notice - scheduled for 11/27
          11/20 - Attempted biometrics walk-in - location too busy
          11/27 - Biometrics completed
          12/06 - 485 and 765 "Fingerprint review completed"
          3/18 - 485 "Ready to be scheduled for interview"
          3/27 - 765 "Card is being produced"
          3/29 - "Card was mailed"
          4/3 - Combo card in hand - day 153

            Sorry to hear that. I have heard they don?t expedite based on wife pregnancy however you can expedite Since they are currently checking EAD applications with PD 8/12/18. You can try to submit an ?out of normal processing time?

            10/22 received notices in the mail.
            11/01 Bio appt schedule notice received. 11/14

            11/14 Bio Appt completed at the La Brea Los Angeles Office
            11/29 Fingerprints review was completed
            3/4 EAD card being produced
            3/9 EAD Card Recieved
            3/11 case is ready to be scheduled for interview
