Hi guys,

We just had our interview on 1/29 in San Jose-CA office and according to our lawyer the interview went "perfectly well". The IO asked for a few supporting documents (fone bills, rental agreement, and a couple photos)

At the end she said she will review the case again and we will get decision in the mail within 2--4 weeks. I was wondering if anyone has the same situations and how long after should we expect to hear back? (if approved **fingers crossed**)

Is it true some people get approved on the spot?

our PD is Oct 2016 so we will be getting a Perm GC if we were to be approved

We got approved on the spot today. So yes this is true.

I have some friends and they all got approved on the spot. So yes, lot of people got approved right away. But also, lots of people need to wait to be reviewed. So either case is normal.

Yes I was never impacted by retrogression because my I140 was approved in 2013. So I filed my I485 with priority date in 2013.

I had my minor son's ( from ex wife ) interview on 24th and he got filed by my current USC wife so first the IO said that he will approve this application and he put couple stamps on the application then in the end of interview he said he will review the application and will make his decision.
So did your IO did same thing putting stamp on application? Please share with me.

Hi, yes they did put a couple stamp on the package but not my passport. I'm not sure what those are
