Hi everyone..

Does anyone know if we can use my husbands 1099-R form (Pension, Annuities, Retirement) as part of Income for i-864? Does anyone used it as well? Can we use it along with his 2018 w2? Because we only need $2k to reach the minimum poverty limit by uscis and his 1099R will cover the rest of it so we're just wondering if we can use it. Any info is helpful. Thank You guys

If you are using assets rather than income, you need to show that you have 3x the difference between the income and the required income and you have to show that those assets can be converted to cash within one year without significant hardship.

So if the difference between your husband's income and the required minimum income is 2K, you need to show that he has 6K available w/in one year as cash. If his 1099R will cover this amount, he can use it.
