Good luck and let me know in the future if the officer asks you about asylum case while interviewing for i485 (marriage based)!

Hi, the officer actually asked about the asylum case( but general questions about it tho). my I-485 case through family took 2 years, there were a lot of background checks, extended reviews etc.

Did they tell you that they will review your asylum case first and then give you an answer about AOS? Now I?m thinking if I should withdraw mine now or after the interview
            Hopefully this nightmare ends soon!

so this is not legal advice but my understanding if you withdraw your asylum case before the adjustment your case will be sent to immigration court and raise suspicious,

so try not to do that, better ask attorney first.

That?s what I was thinking as well. Cause then we kinda will be out of status. So this definitely makes sense. Thanks

OP said "I got my LPR", so I guess that's the GC, right?

Have my asylum case pending and in the same time filed family based AOS , had interview on June 2017 since that haven?t herd anything, had infopass month ago , was told it is still pending, don?t know what else can I do , or may be it is normal to wait this long in situation like mine.

                      Thank you !

                        MY PD was March, 2017
                        My interview was August, 2018
                        the decision was February, 2019

                        around 2 years total.

I would recommend calling you senate and congressman they will help a lot
