  • Case Held for Review (I485) Interview done on 12/13/2018

I petition for my husband, we had our interview on December 13, 2018 in Baltimore Field Office.
Everything seems to go well at the interview but the officer, gave us a form that the case is held for review. It's now February 3rd 2019 and we have not heard anything. I keep checking our status online and its still saying "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed". Did anyone have this experience? Please share we are so worried and hoping for a happy ending.

Same here. Atlanta F.O. gave me a letter stating "held for review". Does your letter state expected wait time?

            Case held for Review

My husband and I had our interview on Dec 12, 2018 in the Houston, TX office. Our case was held for review the very next day on the 13th, we knew what document we needed to submit. We acquired said document and sent it to USCIS via our lawyer, so they could submit a cover letter with it. We received notice that his card was being produced on January 25th,2019 and on January 31st, his GC was delivered.

We didn't receive any papers, we only received these notices via E-Mail and SMS. The officer said they had 120 days to make a decision, most worrisome wait ever - my poor husband was thinking the worst but thank God everything went good.

Wishing you the very best of luck.

Yes the paper did say that they will take up to 120 days to make a decision, but the wait and not knowing is nerve racking.
