  • Mount laurel NJ interview experience

This is for persons whose local office is NJ. Hope this helps. I filed in April 2018. Fast forward to interview Jan 22. Ample parking everything is easy, not a lot of people. We arrived early sat in our car then went in 15 minutes before. Got called in by a friendly officer. Asked me my husband date of birth, how many times he was married, where he was born, what he does. They asked him same for me. Then Finally how we met or better yet our story. Gave her four pile of exhibits she took everything except messages. Then said it?s s obvious we have a bonafide marriage and she will review what I gave her and recommend approval. I got letter for husband birth certificate three days after (had it but she didn?t t ask). Sent it immediately then status updated four days after to approved.

I know a lot of you going through anxiety and worried. Some of us gave up a lot to be here and made decision to start over with our spouse. This process taught me about patience and being humble. Good luck to all. Well I will still hang around as I hope to pursue immigration law in the very near future lol.

      Congratulations.

Did you submit any evidence of bonafide marriage when you sent the application or you waited until the day of the interview? The person that prepared our immigration file told us to wait until the day of the interview so we never sent anything and I?m worried.

Hi, can you please share your timeline? It would help me a lot since I just got the "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" notice yesterday but I don't know how long I would have to wait to have an actual interview date. I filed i-485 last 06/25/18. Sent out response to RFE 02/01. Thanks!
