We are working on our adjustment of status forms (based on i140, employment based). My current status is H4. I was an exchange student 15 years ago on J1 visa. The only evidence I currently have is DS-2019 with an August, 2004 arrival stamp. I don't have a copy of my departure stamp, as I no longer have that passport. I also have a US Dept of State letter stating that the program length is 10 to 11 months. I then have a new visa and I-20 from August, 2007. I was living with my mom and only doing tutoring work during these two years (between June, 2005 and August, 2007), thus no pay stubs or rental info available. Has anyone had a similar situation?
