My husband and I went for our long awaited interview last week. We were not approved there and then due to the officer having to read a separate file. Ill explain. I was not aware a few years ago that there had been a deportation set for me. Prior to the I130 I765 and I485 being submitted the judge looked at the case it was proven no correspondence had ever been sent and he ordered that the deportation be terminated. Moving forward came the interview, the officer was very kind and went through all the normal questions expected and was happy although we needed to send an additional document that we have to wait for her letter before we can send the attachment.
She asked whether my greencard was revoked by the judge which it wasn't or any other authorities. Therefore her concern was if that didn't occur then it was merely completing an I90 so at this point I am confused to no end. then yesterday out of know where I was advised that my I765 card was being produced. I had forgotten about this application due to the other one.
Just need to share as its hard doing this alone, as we signed a document there also stating we were no longer being represented which the officer encouraged as she believes that none of the documents, time and money are relevant.
Any thoughts or opinions would be very much appreciated.
