I-485 adjustment of status

Hi

My I-485 adjustment of status is under review and RFE response has just been filed. On the other hand, my EAD/AP is expiring in mid-March. I am currently in India and will fly to US before its expiry. My question is what is going to be my status if my green card is denied while I am in US on EAD/AP? Can I stay in US even after my green card denial based on EAD/AP (I will apply for its renewal as soon as I enter US). I will highly appreciate any feedback on that.

EAD/AP is ONLY valid as long as you have a PENDING case. As soon as a decision is reached on your case then your EAD/AP becomes invalid.

If your i-485 is denied you have no status and can not stay in the US any longer.

Depending on the reason your are denied you maybe able to reapply or reopen the case.
