I highly doubt it would go back to beginning. I think their field office may have been over-booked for that day and they just wanted to move some interviews to another day.

Hopefully so. Someone in another forum has the same update as me and got canceled the same time. I’m guessing we in the same FO. His status changed almost the same time as mine (case is ready to be scheduled)

Have you considered calling them to see why it was cancelled? It will not hurt....

                • Not to make anyone paranoid, but I also read that someone had that scheduled then cancelled thing happen and the Tier II rep they got through to on the phone said to still go as it was cancelled in error and the system did not reflect the uncancelled interview. This may or may not actually be the case but there is no downside in having due diligence and waiting in the Tier II call back waitlist with something so important and with systems so unreliable as USCIS' CLAIMS 4 system. They are a mess of an agency. Worse than the VA, SSA, TSA, and any state DMV, combined.

Folks update, Interview was completed and got a recommendation for approval. Status has not changed on the uscis page.

We were called in separately (first surprise), beneficiary first. There were three people on the other side (second surprise). After I got questioned for 20 mins. Wife was called and then asked the same questions to see if they match.
Got asked how did we met, general timeline etc. (been dating 4 yrs), Birthdays, marriage day, location, Witness names, Rings, were parents present etc.

                        Questions were very simple.

Check-In window asked us all passport and all the EADs. ( i had more than 6 2F1 OPT, Extensions, TPS, AOS etc), Submitted all.
They get all the original forms we submit. (i assumed they have a scanned copy).

Interviewer didn't ask any other original docs. I had somehow lost original birth cert,

After the questions. He asked me if i had any other questions. I told him and gave him additional proofs since we filed the petition, health doc, lease, car bills, accounts etc.
He wasnt really interested in new pictures but i had him look at them (didnt do all the prep for nothing ) . Initially i had sent in stacks of photos abt 80, which he had them on the big fat application packet i had sent in.

Since were less than 2 years out on marriage, we will get 2 yr card, and have to do this one more time to remove conditions.

                        Good luck to others.

                            • Hi Everyone!

Have been on a small hiatus (Advanced parole came through in August!!) so was finally able to enjoy destination wedding planning and recently returned back into the country.

Wanted to update my timeline and ask a quick question!

Do we have to submit another medical exam, if the previously submitted one was for the K1? I know the 485 is a different application, but our Lawyer (who is a friend of a friend) is unsure, having not processed an AOS in a while. 3 of her 5 colleagues "believe" i will. I have an additional copy of the one i had done in Australia that i can resubmit or will it have to be done state side here?

                              cheers!

SouthBay2019 we have the same interview date and location!
