        Hi all!

Been window shopping through this forum for years and I finally decided to register.

My field office is SA, TX and I shipped my concurrent application on 2/2/2019 (saturday) to Chicago lockbox.

        Here's my timeline:

        2/5/2019 package arrived
2/6/2019 I-797C Notice (I don't remember what day i physically received it but notice has the date 2/7/2019)
2/8/2019 Biometrics Appointment Letter scheduled for 2/26/2019 (along with I-797C, I don't remember when I had the letter in had)
        2/15/2019 Biometrics Walk-in
2/20/2019 Biometrics review completed (on case status)
2/21/2019 Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

        then...crickets.. chirp chirp.

Oh I sent in everything all together including medical exam (I-693?).

Didn't "front load" the application just sent couple pictures and marriage license.

no joint bank accounts, no joint apt lease (or any bills, no tax filings (at the time of filing, we hadn't filed taxes yet so I just sent my W-2 since my wife is a student).

I did show that she was under my insurance and is the recipient of my life insurance if I ever die.

My only concern about the application is financial assurance part. My wife is a med student who doesn't have any income (other than grants and scholarships) yet she's "sponsoring" me (husband).

Should I be worried that my wife makes 0 money? even though I make quite a bit of money which puts our married and filing joint tax income bracket at 24%? or it doesn't matter since I'm already working and I'm part of the sponsor's household income.

        Thanks!

Hi Nisarg, you should call the USCIS asking why you didnt receive anything from them. After 13 days from the day they received, I called them and they said they sent my package back to me.
Anyway, just call them and they will ask your full name, address in US and date of birth. So, they track the case receipt for you. If they don't have receipt yet or any information of your case, it means your case still processing (might be take more time). Otherwise, they will give you the receipt number even if it's approval or rejected
            F2B
            2/7: delivered
2/22: rejection because immigration visa is not available
            2/26: explanation letter, sent again
            2/28: PD
3/14: 3 text message, check cashed out
3/21: received 3 NOA by mail
            3/29: Biometric done
            4/23: Biometric done second time
4/24: I485 - Case is Ready to Be Scheduled Interview
7/30: request I765 case out of normal processing time start at SR...

8/29: call and officer request another service start at T1B...

I'm getting concerned, too. My USPS tracking told me it got delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on Monday, February 25 and I haven't received any letters/texts and my cheques haven't been cashed either! I've been tracking on this forum for a while and I feel like most people's cheques were cashed within a few days of the package being received.

What category is your wife applying from? Your process seems super fast. At least in Los Angeles, CA, the expected processing time is 15-24 months. And they do not schedule interview before they affirm that all the docs are in correct order.

Hi, on March 9 I received my biometric appointment notice in the mail. So I think the rfie is about your biometrics appointment. Just wait for a few days. Hopefully You?ll receive it in 3 to 5 days, so check your mail box. I was also worried when I saw the rfie on my case status online because at that time I hadn?t received my biometrics appointment. But I waited until three days and checked my mailbox and found out it was my biometrics. So don?t let it stress you out.

I'm applying through my USC wife from DACA.

I don't think I'm all that fast, maybe faster than majority but if you check through random receipt numbers, you can see that some January filers already had their interview scheduled (I think I only saw 1 Feb filer had interview scheduled but then again, I didn't check all of them... was just randomly changing numbers from my receipt number).

Your ID is pretty funny lol janitor911 lollll

Be careful if you are traveling to an airport located in the border zone. CPB are stationed at those airport, and they are checking for legal status for everyone flying domestically.

Not so at border zone airports. CBP are stationed at those airports, and they are checking for legal status of everyone flying domestically. Reason being that it would be all too easy for someone undocumented to hop on a flight to an interior city and bypass CBP checkpoints. So they have checkpoints inside these airport. Valley International Airport in Harlingen is one example.
