My case is being processed at National Benefits Center and their wait times seem way longer than other places (when I check USCIS wait times - weirdly though they don't have National Benefits Center on the drop down menu for I-485 and I-130). I'm just surprised it's taking so long because I requested an expedite on my AP due to family illness so I thought I would at least received some sort of update (maybe an RFP even though I submitted evidence with my application). I'm in California so I thought they would send my applications to California Service Center but guess not.

Don't really have a point lol - just talking out loud!
emanuser - Based on your timeline, seems like you should get the Biometric NOA by this week or at max in next week. Lookout for your mail box, because for me they did not send any notification, I just received in my mail box.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I'm just confused as to why the timelines are so different for everyone (like we saw - we both have same PD). I think with this forum, I tend to start comparing and then worrying. Do you know where your case is being processed?

It just said "National Benefits Center". So I believe it used to be called the Missouri Service Center. I guess it's not technically at a field office yet...

emanuser - okay I believe we both have the same service center, since you filled I485 and I130 concurrently.

What I believe is, our case gets transferred to the local office once you see the I-485 form status as "your interview is ready to be scheduled"

yes, you're correct, everyone is the same location: National Benefit Center with EAD card. If your local office process quickly then your i485 will be interviewed and get your green card

From what I read, they send the NOAs faster if they receive the package via Fedex/UPS and a few days later if they receive it via USPS.
Usually take 7-10 days after the first 4 NOAs to receive the biometrics letter. There is no online status change, it just arrive at your mailbox.

So does that mean everyone has receipt numbers starting with MSC? (like me)

yes, everyone, married to USC, married to Green Card Holder, Employment and my case is F2B with receipt number begin MSC
You should add case in your account USCIS, they has check box to alert you through email or text message. I do have the account so when they send me biometric letter, they sent to me notice that I need RFE (request for evidence I think that for biometric)

Some EB AOS can begin with SRC.

                            • Hi guys, after biometric done, does the status of i485 and i765 change? Or it just fingerprint fee received? I got biometric done yesterday. However, the officer said my fingerprint is not clear, has too many lines, so she said she tried the best and sent to USCIS. If they aren't ok, they will send you letter to reject and wait another scheduled appointment. If the second is unclear also, she said you will need the police clearance letter
