    “Name: YYYY XX
    Receipt Number: YYYY ZZZ
    Form: I-131

Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. This case will be routed for expedited processing. Once this case is reviewed, your constituent will receive a decision or notice of further action. Due to the extremely high volume of expedite requests for this case type, there are numerous cases involving exigent or humanitarian issues already in the expedite queue, and we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the expedited review. The strict enforcement of the expedite criteria means that all cases sent for expeditious handling are urgent, and we assure you that this case will be adjudicated as soon as possible.”

Not sure what to expect now..
We received the exact email from our congressman office when expediting my husband EAD, and the next day his status got changed to "New Card is being produced". So hopefully you should get some news anytime soon. All the best!!

    • Hi there, a newbie here!

      Local office: Hialeah, FL
      Feb 15 PD
      Mar 20 Biometrics appointment.
Jun 11 Ready to be scheduled for an interview

Now here is my question, we received a courtesy letter about I693 missing in the application. (pink letter) My husband recycled it and I wonder will it be a problem, do I have to submit I-693 with that letter? I start getting a bit worried.
Also the fact haven't received the combo card is really a torture......:'(

Great, thank you. It's been 3 days now and no movement on the I-131 HOWEVER I woke up this morning to a notification that the status of his I-485 has been changed to "ready to schedule interview"--- related to the expedite or coincidence?

          • Hey Guys,

            To God be the glory!

Had my interview yesterday and just wanted to inform you guys on how it went. Got there 30 mins before the interview.and they called us in promptly to begin at 10am.
He informed us that he had not gone thru our file before and would be doing so while we conduct the interview. We then said the oath and began.

            He asked:
            How did we meet?
Where was she(my wife is the citizen btw) born?
            Whats each other's birthday?
Whats my parents in law names?
Where we both work and what we do?
What's the plan after I get the green card?
            Whats our wedding day?

We were in there for an HOUR because he took so long to go through our huge file. I became really bored in there. Plus the fact that me and my wife live in different states and he said he was just tryna make sense of everything while writing down his notes as we talked.
After he was done he looked at our supporting documents and kept some pictures and other documents establishing a relationship and told me I had been approvedand whats the next step in renewing to get the 10 yr green card and filing for citizenship. We had a couple of jokes after and he wished us luck.
Interview went smooth. No need to be nervous in there if you are not doing anything wrong. These guys are just doing their jobs. Being nervous will actually make you talk too much or give wrong answers by mistake.

Let me know if you guys have any questions. I will gladly answer.

She moved because of family medical reasons that needed to be attended to. We submitted all that in the paperwork as well.

We are on the same boat and getting frustrated as well.

                              This is my information:
                              02/20/2019 i-485, i-131 and i-765 received.
                              03/18/2019 finger print appointment.

                              No update since then.

I am wondering the same as you if it is worth to call them or not.

Could you please share your timeline and processing center?

                              Good luck,
