I looked up a civil surgeon on the USCIS website. Found one near me, made an appointment and went in. I was greeted by a Nurse Practioner. I was expecting to see the civil surgeon listed on the USCIS website. The nurse practioner did the physical part of the test and he is the one that signed off on my blood test form that I need to take to get my blood work done. I'm just wondering if it's okay that the exam is being done by the nurse practioner and not the actual civil surgeon listed on the website.

Day one: Filled out forms. Saw a nurse who took weight and height, and drew blood.
Day two: Returned for lab results. Was handed the completed (and already signed) I-693 for my review while waiting to see the doctor. Once called, went back to a room and handed the doctor the completed I-693. He asked me a few questions, asked if I had any tattoos with "13" (to find out if I was MS-13 I guess), folded the I-693 and put in in the envelope, stamped the back across the seal, and taped the envelope over the seal and stamp.2019/02/27 PD
