Hello guys! So I received a courtesy letter today in the mail that says I need to bring my i-693 in the interview (which I already know) And I didn?t submit my 693 before is because my friends advice that it?ll be better if I get it when i have the interview date already. Well my question is, is it possible to get a interview before work permit? It just doesn?t make sense to me for them to send this letter knowing that I don?t have my interview yet. Thanks in advance!

I think the courtesy letter it only means that someone looked over your forms and know that the form was missing. It doesn't mean that they are going to set an interview soon, but sometimes that happen.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center

I received the courtesy letter, and a few days later my status changed to 'we are ready to schedule for an interview', then about a week later I got an interview date. No idea if it'll be the same but that was my experience. I just had my medical yesterday and have my interview in two weeks! The interview date was scheduled for about a month out!Comment

Thank you! I know some people that received an interview first before the work permit!
