  • Should we petition the Ombudsman as a forum group?

I'm not sure how this would work, or whether it would be in any way productive, but the experience of these processes is generally negative.

I get that the volume of applications has a workload implication, but the process for when it goes wrong is non existent. And it complicates itself.

I'm reading about the medical 2 year rules not being recognised by officers at inteview, and contradicted in interview letters. I received completely contradictory Requests for evidence that I can only assume are resolved. Customer Service can tell you nothing. Info Pass appointments before they were stopped were non existent in NY. The letter I just received about my EAD extension is written in code - nobody can decipher what its asking for, not even Customer Service.

Other little things, like if they post that my processing times are 20-32 months, why cant my EAD and AP match that?

Why can't there be an option to travel for your interview, and have cases processed across the board, not in completely imbalanced geographical areas? I'd travel somewhere to have an interview

I'm 16 months in and tired of the while thing. Surely even changes to improve their own efficiency can be heard?

Spill it out, we're here for you!
I have the same thoughts...this whole process is insane and nerve racking.
We're here doing things the right way and when we want to ask a question we're kicked out like a wet cat. Some empathy wouldn't hurt them.
